Everyday Life

 I am pretty much the resident photo person among my friends. It something that I really enjoy doing. Over the years I have captured so many great moments. These are just a few from the other night that I really liked and wanted to share.

Editing Assignment

The process of going through all my work and choosing the images that best represent the series is difficult. As artist  we put so much time and effort into all of our work, and to have to pick favorites seems crazy. It is a lot easier to look unbiasedly at another's work rather then your own. You have not invested the time that the other has. I enjoyed this because it was a chance for me to pretty much shoot what I like. This project allowed me to get as creative as I wanted, and figure out how to refine my work. 

Point of View

For the point of view assignment I chose to use my sister, Katie. She's 14 and loves having her picture taken. I thought these photos would work better in black and white because I didn't was the color to be distracting. I really wanted to be about her and also look classic. I like how willing she was. A good subject is always very important.

Obsession

Shoes!!! They have been any obsession of mine since I could remember. It only seem fitting that I obsessively take photos of them.
